Shown here is an MECB prototype card connected to an old AIM65 Display module for testing.
Using the PLD for address decoding makes for a very simple design with no additional ICs needed.
This is awesome, and is exactly my intention of the MECB platform. i.e. A flexible platform to experiment with, allowing us to wire-up a new peripheral design relatively quickly, with what used to take us ages of wiring-up in the old days.

The wiring was simple except that I needed to cut some tracks between the pads which were in groups of three.
I think I've seen this mentioned twice now. Perhaps I should reinstate the original "simple grid" prototype board, to support these type of non-IC dominated projects?
