After years of breathing in the flux fumes that were not being extracted by my Hakko 493 desktop Extractor Fan, and also having space issues when trying to extract fumes alongside my bench magnifier or trinocular microscope, it was time to find (and upgrade) to a more powerful, effective, and flexible Fume Extractor.
After a bit of a wide search for the best solution, at an acceptable price, I located the KOTTO Strong Suction Hose Fume Extractor.
This appeared to tick all of my requirements boxes, including it being a small size, able to be positioned out of the way but with an easily positioned suction head, and also with eniough suction to keep the fumes away from my face!
