I am a retired electrical engineering technologist. Back in the late 1970's and early 1980's I was a bench Tech at Motorola Microsystems while going to school. I worked on almost all the 6800 family cards that went into EXORcisor system. It C was a lot of fun and there were a lot of good people who worked there.
But that was a lot of years ago.
I've always felt that there is still a lot of good computing left in the old 8 and 16 bit systems. I don't not need a race car to goto the corner store and I don't need a 64 bit computer to run a few basic programs.
I'm in the process of restoring a PC-XT clone, a Motorola D2 kit, and I'm eyeing my lSI 11. And I am on a hunt for an EXORBUS system.
