Well, I don't really view it as a competition entry though, more a case of: "Tell someone else about your plans, to put more pressure on you actually carrying-through with those plans!".
Therefore, I've also created a Blog post to track my progress on this project (hopefully it goes to plan!).
You can find the Blog here: RetroChallenge 2024/10 (RC2024)
Updates: (added to the Blog linked above)
- Mon 30 Sept - The original teaser and some background information, as an introduction to my intended October RetroChallenge project.
- Mon 7 Oct - The first logical task was to do some work on proving that I could get some of my planned Keyboard firmware operational.
- Mon 14 Oct - A big week! Successfully completing the firmware functions, completing the v1.0 schematic, and also publishing the CreatiVision Controller v2.0 major version upgrade.
- Mon 21 Oct - The week spent mostly on creating, tweaking, and finalising the PCB layout design (and submitting for manufacture), and also the creation of the key-plate (via Fusion).
